Maraya Performing Arts is more than a studio — it’s a community. Founded in 2020 by Anjanette Maraya-Ramey (“Miss AJ”), a cancer survivor and lifelong artist, Maraya provides professional training in dance, acting, singing, and musical theatre led by working artists with industry connections to Broadway, Disney, Hollywood and beyond.
Whether your child dreams of the stage or simply wants a joyful, supportive place to belong, Maraya is where confidence, creativity, and community take center stage.
Maraya is a professional training ground, production hub, and community arts leader. From the classroom to the stage, from community projects to professional careers, we help artists of all ages grow as performers and as people.
Training + Productions
The Academy offers high-quality classes in acting, dance, and voice, preparing students for success on stage, screen, and in life. With productions, musical theatre competitions, and professional-caliber opportunities, we go beyond recreation — we connect our students to real-world experiences and help them become professional artists and human beings.
Scholarships + Community Projects
The Collective provides scholarships and grant-funded projects that make arts education accessible for all. From site-specific performances to intergenerational collaborations, we bring the arts into schools, neighborhoods, and communities. The Collective belongs to the community — driven by equity, creativity, and connection.

“Maraya Performing Arts has been my son's home away from home. He adores his instructors and has found his tribe.
His personality has shined. The team has brought out talents in him I never knew he had!
Thanks for providing a welcoming and inclusive environment to thrive.”
