Maraya Performing Arts is proud to serve as both a creative home for performers and a catalyst for strengthening the arts in our community.
Through our youth and adult training programs, professional productions, community partnerships, and the Arts Leadership Co-Lab, we are committed to developing not only exceptional artists, but also the next generation of creative leaders.
Whether you're enrolling your child in their first dance or acting class, auditioning for a production, or seeking professional development as an artist, educator, or nonprofit leader, you'll find a welcoming community dedicated to excellence, creativity, and lasting impact.
At Maraya, we don't just teach the arts—we build confidence, foster connection, and empower people to use their creativity to enrich their lives and the communities they serve.
At Maraya, we believe the arts have the power to transform lives. Through professional training, meaningful performance opportunities, community engagement, and arts leadership, we create pathways for artists of all ages to grow, connect, and thrive.
Our Academy provides exceptional training in dance, acting, musical theatre, and voice for children, teens, and adults. Students develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and technical excellence while preparing for performances, auditions, competitions, and future artistic opportunities.
Beyond the classroom, our Production Company brings learning to life through fully staged musicals, original productions, showcases, competitions, and professional performance experiences that inspire students to grow as both artists and leaders.
The Maraya Performing Arts Collective expands access to the arts through scholarships, community partnerships, educational programs, and original artistic projects that bring diverse communities together.
From intergenerational performances, cultural celebrations to arts education initiatives and site-responsive productions - we use the performing arts to strengthen communities, foster belonging, and inspire meaningful social impact.
The Arts Leadership Co-Lab equips artists, dance studio owners, nonprofit leaders, theatre companies, educators, and creative entrepreneurs with practical tools to build thriving organizations.
Through workshops, consulting, coaching, and professional development, participants gain real-world strategies in fundraising, grant writing, nonprofit development, strategic planning, partnerships, marketing, and sustainable business practices.
Whether you're launching your first nonprofit or growing an established arts organization, the Co-Lab is here to help you lead with confidence and purpose.

Learn from seasoned professionals from Disney, Broadway, and Hollywood, dedicated to nurturing talent, professionalism, discipline, and confidence.
Some of our students are working professionally and have appeared in: Netflix, Disney, Paramount +, Apple TV and professional regional theatre.
“Maraya Performing Arts has been my son's home away from home.
He adores his instructors and has found his tribe.
His personality has shined. The team has brought out talents in him I never knew he had!
Thanks for providing a welcoming and inclusive environment to thrive.”
"Maraya Performing Arts is the newest gem to grow from the soil of San Diego's South Bay. With an unwavering commitment to equity, inclusion, and access to the arts - Maraya celebrates the vast diversity in the community that they serve. This organization will be an asset to not only the students themselves, but to the community as a whole by providing an artistic home and a safe haven for people of all generations to nurture individuality and creativity in a supportive and disciplined environment."
