Safety of Our Students & Staff is Our Priority

Maraya Performaning Arts (MPA) requires all staff and students to stay home when they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or not feeling well. MPA also requires that all students remain socially distanced before, during, and after classes and come prepared to class with a mask on. Masks must be worn over the mouth and nose on studio grounds at all times with no exceptions. Students will be sent home if they are unable to follow these safety rules, as they are made to protect themselves and their peers. MPA will also implement a strict cleaning policy and have a pre class screening of temperature checks before each class to do our part in slowing the spread of COVID-19. The health and safety of our students and staff is our utmost priority.

With growing concerns around the Omicron variant, we are implementing precautions to ensure that everyone stays as safe as possible!
Please try to get to Maraya Performing Arts 10-15 minutes before class so that we can get you checked-in and in time for class.
We ask that you and your student wait outside the lobby for temperature check-ins, and that you have proof of vaccination for your student, if applicable. If your student is unable to get vaccinated for any reason, please have proof of a negative COVID-19 Test (PCR) within the week of classes.
For students that are in school, this test result can be the same test results from your student's school, however they must have a new negative test result within 7 days of the previous result. (For example: If you tested on Monday, and got your test results on Tuesday, the next time you would need to take the test would be the following Monday).
There will be a COVID-19 wavier form stating that the student is adhering to these precautions and that the Maraya Performing Arts administration is keeping your information confidential.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to have parents wait in the lobby during class time. We will have chairs and heaters set-up outside, but we encourage you to wear layers or wait in your car for class to be over.
These changes are temporary: we're hoping to see COVID cases drop significantly before finding leniency within our precautions. We want to prioritize the safety for you and your family first.
Thank you for understanding and helping us keep the studio safe for everyone!
