YOUTH TOURING COMPANY

Youth Touring Company (YTC) is composed of talented young students between the ages of 7-18 who are training intensively to perform at multiple venues and events scheduled throughout Maraya Performing Arts Season. YTC is for students who are committed to their craft and making a career of it outside the walls of Maraya. YTC is currently focusing efforts into our Youth and Teen students interested in Musical Theatre.

Please read through the requirements of YTC and what we expect of our students that are a part of the company.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE A YOUTH COMPANY MEMBER

1. YTC members are required to take 5-7 classes weekly within the Broadway Bound Track.
2. YTC members are required to attend all classes, rehearsals and meetings scheduled by Teaching Artists and YTC Creative Team. Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (TBC based on group's collective availability) starting in the Summer on Saturday July 2, 2022.
3. YTC members should communicate their schedules and conflicts to the YTC Creative Team as soon as any conflicts arise - it is highly encouraged that if your schedule is too restricting, you reconsider your involvement with YTC.

Our goal for YTC is to perform at multiple gigs throughout the Maraya season. Our ultimate goal is to go to New York with Dance The World Broadway in Summer 2023! YTC members are part of a team that will be performing often and will be guaranteed a role in our musical theatre productions. They will just be required to audition for their desired roles. Lead roles are not guaranteed. They need to be earned. 🙂
