Explore the big blue world with this lively new stage musical based on the beloved Pixar film!
Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Disney's Finding Nemo JR. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Disney-Pixar's Finding Nemo Jr. produced by Maraya Performing Arts with special arrangement by Music Theatre International (MTI).
Step 1: Reserve Your Audition Slot
Pick one 5-minute slot on either:

📅 Saturday, April 12 | 12:00–3:00 PM
💵 Audition Fee: $40 per child (to confirm your spot)

Step 2: Prepare for the Audition
🎤 Introduction (Slate): Say your name, age, grade, and the title of your audition song.
🎶 Vocal Audition:
- Sing 60 seconds or 16–32 bars of a Disney or Disney-style song in the styling of the show and/or the role(s) you want to be considered for.
- ❌ Do not sing a song from Finding Nemo Jr.
- ✅ Exception: Students 7 and under may sing “Where’s My Dad?”
- You may sing a cappella or bring a karaoke track (no background vocals).
🎭 Optional Monologue (recommended for ages 8+):
- Prepare a 1-minute monologue.
Step 3: Submit Your Music Track (if applicable)
🎵 Email karaoke track (MP3 or similar) to: info@marayaarts.com
📅 Deadline: Thursday, April 10 by 5:00 PM
Step 4: Make Sure You Meet Audition Eligibility
✔️ Current Maraya Students:
- 6+ months = 20 gold coins
- Newer (under 3 months) = 5 gold coins
🆕 New to Maraya?
- You must be enrolled in ongoing group classes to be cast.
- Contact us to schedule your trial week of classes!
Step 5: Audition Day Details
- Arrive early and check in downstairs.
- Parents may help fill out audition forms but are not allowed in the audition room.
- Let us know if your child needs accommodations in advance.
Step 6: Callbacks (If Invited)

📧 Email notifications will be sent for callback invitations.

Step 8: Commit to the Production
💰 Production Fee: $575 per student
- $59 non-refundable deposit + contract due May 5
- 4 Monthly Payments of $129 due: May 15, June 15, July 15, August 15
- 🎉 Pay in full by May 5 and save $50 ($525 total)
