11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. = Pre-show Activities, Games, Filipino Food + Blood Drive
12:30 p.m. = House Opens
1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. = Opening Act/Bayanihan
1:45 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. = Intermission
2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. = Student Winter Showcase (10 minute intermission)
3:30 - 5:00 p.m. = Post Show Reception + Blood Drive
House opens at 12:30 p.m., but we have pre-show outdoor activities starting at 11 a.m.
*Please arrive early to PARK IN LEVEL 2 of the parking garage and walk to the theatre to get seated in your assigned seating area. Seats are available on a first come first served basis in your respective area.
Maraya Performing Arts academy students will showcase what they have been learning in dance, voice, acting, and musical theatre for the past few months. Please come and support our students and cheer them on.
Our opening act is our original dance theatre production of Bayanihan – featuring our professional company of artists, and multigenerational performers ages 7-77. Bayanihan is a story about the triumphs and journey of Filipino-American immigrants told through spoken word poetry and dance.
